I wondered myself. I definitely need to get some new ones but I was not sure where to get measured since I have never had it done before.

Here in Texas we have Dillard's. Dillard's will fit you for a bra. They are wonderful. I don't trust anyone else. They are helping keep my bras fitting as I lose and are cheering me on. I started out in a 42DD, down to a 40DD and two weeks ago was refitted with a 38D. It's so wonderful not to look sloppy in my clothes. Before I gained a lot of weight, I was a classic 34 B. I may never be that again, as I am older now, but I'd like to get close. I've been overweight for 17 years!

one of my reasons to start on this journey was my bra size-at a JJ, it is the one part of me i absolutly hate. and i am really hoping to go down to a D cup. do not know if this will be possible, but if i can lay on my back wihtout being suffocated, it will be a massive thing for me. i wonder how many bras i am going to have to buy as the weight comes off, as well as clothes.

go to a proper bra fitting store. You'll find one in the yellow book...

My obgyn was adamant that I get a proper bra fit...and I'm not very large chested. He just felt that my breasts deserve proper support or they will sag and be in pain.

However, I nursed my twins until they were 20months (after my surgery)...and my breasts are so not even nearly attractive in the least.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
