my loan approved

Recommended Posts

I found out yesterday that my loan has been approved. I dont know all the details yet. As far as my payment amount etc. I am excited and pretty sure we will be okay. I am desperate for my surgery. I have had much encouragement from the self pay people My husband is supportive me and is willing even though he like me is a little weary of payment at this time in our life. but I want to extend my life and be heathy. thank you to all who have been praying for me.

Congrats!! That is awesome. Do you mind if I ask you a really rude question? Who did you get your loan through? I am self-paying as well and want to look at all loan options, ya know.

american general finance. We had a home equity loan with them so thats why i tried them first. When i went to the surgeon they gave me some pamplets from loan companies. One was with each of the bands i called the realize band people but they could only give me around 8000 and that was with 2 cars with as collateral{sp} So i decided to go with someone i had done business with ieven though my house payments will now be alot highter. but i think my heath isworth it.

Thanks for replying to my post. I hope things work out for you it is nerve wracking. I will feel completely secure when I have the check in my hand.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
