My lap band surgery in August 8, 2008, I'm excited so sick and tired of being heavy and pray this is my solution. I'm getting my lap band in Port Huron. I have to ask if you have a hernia is this a problem?

It wasn't for me either. I didn't know that had a hernia until after surgery and my surgeon told me I had one and that he had repaired it. He wanted me to tkae it easy for the entire 6 wks after, which has been hard and I feel good and am ready to move! Good luck to you!

Dr. Bout at Port Huron repaired a hernia I didn't know I had. Excellent facility! So happy I went there. Wonderful people that are very caring and supportive. (Surgery 7/14/2008)

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.
