Nectar Protein Drink

Recommended Posts

Hi Ya'll! I got a sample today from my surgeon...it is a Protein mix called Syntrax Nectar. I looked it up online and see they have all kinds of flavors and it gets rave reviews.

So I am wondering...has anyone tried it? What do you think? And...where do you buy it? So far I only see it for sale online but surely some stores must carry it.

Please let me know what you think. Thanks!:biggrin2:

nectar is one of my favaorite brands......good stats and good flavors. I have coffee and Nectar Cappacino Protein every morning. In the summers, I really enjoy their Fuzzy Navel (it's a clear drink like Koolaid). I order mine from www.netrition.com - shipping is flat rate of $4.95 no matter how much you order. Good place to order your heavier things like Davinci syrups and RTD's/

The fuzzy navel is AWESOME. I keep it in my desk at work just in case I can't eat for some reason. It has a great Protein level and comes in a cute little carrying case.

I found it on Amazon, they had the best price I could find thru one of their retailers. It's ok, I can definately drink it, but I dont crave it, of course, i havent found any Protein Drink crave! I've got the Fuzzy navel one. But, taste is subjective! If you've gotten a sample from your doc, at least you'll get to try it for free!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
