casper2101 0 Posted August 7, 2008 I had never purchased anything from Vicoria's secret until recently (before this purchase the secret would have been what the heck am I going to do with these things). I can fit into airplane seats and retaurant booths comfortably. I can just move and breath with greater ease. The lap band was truly the tool I needed to jump my flight to being 50 and fabulous!!!! JDUB0414 0 Posted August 9, 2008 In my case, all of the above I too have been affected by. Some things I can do now: I can wear a belt, I can run after my son without getting tired really quick, I can run up and down stairs without my knees hurting. It all gets better by the day. theninside 0 Posted August 22, 2008 I can't wait to learn how to swim. Can you believe weight kept me from learning because I didnt want to put on a swimsuit. I didnt think sweat pants and a t shirt would go over to well/
Lowbmier 0 Posted August 22, 2008 I just don't like to get dressed. I don't like to be around people. People take it personally and add to my stress. They don't understand that I just don't feel comfortable doing the things they want to do and I don't want people to see me at this size. It's hard. I think they take it personal, but they have to understand. It is what it is. I can only be me and feel what I feel.
Blessed1 0 Posted August 22, 2008 I feel you. My 16 year old daughter says I'm just not a people person and unfortunately she's right. I don't feel comfortable in my own skin, so my comfort level around others is really low.
Bimbabe 1 Posted August 22, 2008 Shopping for clothes! It is so depressing to have to get larger and larger sizes. Also, I do not like to wear anything too reveiling and at 44, that is difficult, since I live in HOTlanta! I am looking forward to wearing different clothes!:wink2:

I can definitely relate to both of your posts. I hope this changes somewhat once I lose some of this weight.
readytoloselbs 0 Posted August 23, 2008 I want to be able to run and play with my daughter more than five minutes, feel comfortable with being in pictures and shop for clothes that I love instead of what will make me look smaller. With the weight I have lost so far, I feel more confident and know that I made the right decision at this point and time in my life.
mstrina27 0 Posted August 24, 2008 U know being over weight has stopped me from being who i am in the inside. I have always felt that I was so much thinner than i actually am. I have always wanted to jogg, go to the beach, wear a 2 piece swim suit.. wear the tummy tops that show your stomach.. I want a belly ring and a stomach chain.... and I am going to get it...
