wavetimer 0 Posted May 23, 2005 Hi! I think we are Birthday Bandsters as I was banded on 5/17/05. I feel great, no problems...doing lots of walking and drinking liquids. Woke up in middle of the night, last night, to sneek onto the scales for the first time post op. Down 10 lbs. I know it is liquid loss but it feels GREAT. Good Luck to you and I hope you continue to do well
dreamweaver 0 Posted May 23, 2005 Wow! You sound like you are doing great. I hope my surgery goes as well as yours did. I fly out tomorrow for Mexico and have surgery on Wednesday. I am having a lot of last-minute jitters. Good luck to you and keep posting so we know how you are doing!
MMDLynn 0 Posted May 24, 2005 Way to go!!! Congrads Michelle - It's wonderful to hear such encouraging words post surgery. I will become a "Bandito" on July 27th (awaiting insurance clearance and time off from new job). Take it slow and follow all of the wonderfule advice provided by the other bandsters on the site. You are so right in that this site is loaded with wonderful information and insight by all members. It's truly a God-send. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress - congrads on the 3lbs loss too! Hey did your Dr. prescribe anything for gas release at home?
palei 0 Posted December 18, 2007 Hello i am scheduled for banding 10 days from now. I am feeling fearful because my family still have not offered the emotional support I feel I need. I am facing a knee replacement and dealing with hypertension. Can you offer any feedback on dealing with family support issues?
