Dianechef 3 Posted August 25, 2005 Okay, just had to post my 2 cents. You mentioned that you were a stay-at-home Mom & wanted to move on with your career... Dr. Phil says that stay-at-home Mom's work the same amount of hrs. as if you had 2 full-time jobs!! You are indeed WORKING!!! By the way, I am a proud stay-at-home Mom (3 kids!!) & I also teach piano lessons out of my home. (25 students!) I was banded 6 weeks ago & have lost 20 lbs!! YEAH!! 88 more to go! Thinjen 0 Posted August 26, 2005 Boy, there's a bunch of fat nurses. I'm one too. Takes one to know one. Looks like we're too busy caring for others instead of taking care of ourselves. I'm glad all of us are finally taking charge of our own health.

Anndallei 0 Posted August 26, 2005 For over 15 years now, I've been the Executive Director of a non-profit organization providing services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. I hope to retire in 6-8 years. My husband and I raised our three children (currently in their 20's and 30's) and recently started the process over again as we are helping raise our great-grand-daughter who is 5 months old and living with us! It's awesome...she is a joy!

Booga 0 Posted August 26, 2005 I'm a Systems Engineer for a large Aerospace Corporation. They love to serve food here 24/7 so I've gained 60 of the pounds I need to lose just in the last three years I've been here. May end up quitting my job just to lose weight seeing how I have no will power at all.
