I work part-time as an environmental scientist, specialising in contaminated site assessments and audits. (The equivalent of Brownfield / Superfund sites for US readers...). I am currently working as an environmental audit project manger / auditor's representative for Australia's largest specialist consulting group.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Earth Science (double Geology major) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Soil Science, as well as various workplace training and professional environmental auditing qualifications.

I really like my job - it's satisfying to help people to clean up soil and groundwater contamination, and to have a part in making a contaminated site fit for a new use, whatever that may be!

At some stage, our family plan to spend a year or two working overseas - I'd love the chance to try out my skills in another country!

Outside of work, I am married to the man of my dreams, and am the mother of one 5yo boy and two cats. I play flute, sing, garden, scrapbook, walk, swim, gym and love to socialise!

I am a paralegal and office manager and have worked for the same attorneys for the past 14 years. I love my job but it is soooooooooooo stressful. We do estate work and one would think it's low key... NOT!!!!! I also have 11 year old twins that I shuffle back and forth to after-school activities.

Well I agree that it is interesting to see what people do for a living.

I do not go out to work but instead look after the dogs whose owners work. I usually have three or four dogs in my house including my own. Job includes fresh air and exercise. the dogs i look after are real sloppy joes from very loving families and just want lots of tlc and time to play with other dogs. I get to meet other dog walkers , make lots of friends and yet be at home whenever my children need me. I choose my hours and it is a great job.( only qualification a liking of dogs and a respect for dogs).

At present just had op a week ago so I am unable to walk dogs so I just have two dogs in the house (1 is mine) and a dog walker coming on in to exercise them.

I build aircraft but as of today I am retired. I accepted the option for an early retirement package. I also paint and I like to write. I occasionally sell paintings and maybe I will find a way to cash in on my writing skills. Who knows? As of today I am disconnected from the workforce. Weird.

I am a dietician....ironic isn't life. I chose administration instead of therapy and I have spent my career as a food Service Director for public schools. My goal in life is to remove the last surviving chicken nugget and french fry from the lives of school kids...but I have to move with stealth lest they figure out that I am here to save them from obesity...a fate worse than death, so I am steadily introducing .....shhhh......healthy food....shhh!!!!... into the school lunch venue. Don't tell any one!

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

      2. BlondePatriotInCDA

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
