I am a panel electrician for a company that builds paint systems for the auto industry. Just 40 guys and me. I can't wait to lose this weight so they might treat me like a female...Nah after 17 years there, I'm always gonna be one of the guys! But I love 'em and they are all rooting for me! Course if I fail, they will all say...Isn't that just like a woman! Spends money for something that doesn't work! But secretly, theres a couple of guys waiting to see how it goes for me, because they are considering having it done too

I am an Organ recovery nurse. I go out and talk to families about donation and then if they wish to donate their loved one's organs, I stay and make it happen by setting up the process and finding the matching recipients. I work on call from home and so I have access to the computer on and off all day.

I am a Program Manager/Project Manager in High Tech in Silicon Valley. I telecommute full time which, believe me, is not a good thing at times. Go for the new job when you are feeling better. Its great to get outside of the house. Good luck.

My husband and I are commercial beekeepers. We own our own business, so we pretty much work our own hours. We both get banded on June 23rd in Mexico with Dr. Garza. Whooo HOOO!!!

I'm a stay at home mom to my 8 year-old triplet boys. Hardest job I've EVER had. I loved being a mom to babies, but these big boys are running me out of my mind! I also work part-time for my sister as her Realtor's Assistant doing her admin/marketing work. We live in the same neighborhood, so I can either work from home or a few blocks away and she always understands when I have to take care of my boys. Not much, but it helps to pays for my home decorating addiction...

In my "former life", I was a corporate manager at an international brokerage firm. Quite a change, there, huh? My husband is an Engineer at a large Engineering and Construction company catering to the oil & gas industry. Heathergurl do you perhaps work for the "Blue Pony"? My husband says that designers can pretty much write their own ticket these days in this booming market and make even more than he does as a project manager. Lucky gurl!

Cool thread.

I work in IT, helpdesk - for an Engineering firm. LOVE IT !!!!!

My other job is LOOSING WEIGHT - I am obsessed with it. I watch what I eat, and I exercise daily. I am trying to squeeze a little time in to tan, as my husband thinks I am as white as a sheet of paper. :) :)

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.
