Gracey 7 Posted July 17, 2008 Any type of probiotic should work. I had this awful problem about two months ago... I went to the doctor & took what they gave me exactly when they told me to take it, but it didn't help. My mom suggested Probiotics & now I have a happy vagina! Katiebug - I was quickly checking my personal email at work today and what do I see "happy vagina" on my screen. After I got over the mild shock, I was dying laughing to myself. Thankfully no one walked by to witness the brief stink of insanity! :cool2:
Cerrin 3 Posted July 17, 2008 Yeah the guy needs to take the same medicine as you. Even if he dosent feel any symptoms. That is what my Dr told me.
gweniper 0 Posted July 18, 2008 After I had my DD I have a massive uti that went to my kidneys. They gave me a lose dose antibiotic to take immediately after intercourse. I had to do this for 6+months. To this day I am so afraid of this happening again that I have to get up with in minutes to clean up. No cuddle time for Gwen. But no repeats of the infection. (Truth be told it was from the cath they gave me during the birth. I made sure when I had lap-band surgery that they were to not put one in.)
gweniper 0 Posted July 18, 2008 oh and I was going to suggest AZO in the Vitamin aisle. I believe they have one for yeast besides for urinary tract.
Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted July 18, 2008 I wonder if my gyn dr. will give me a big enough prescription so I can get him to take the dyflucan. I can't even begin to yell loud enough how sick I am of all of this!
