New kid on the block

I have not yet had the surgery as a matter of fact I am still in the thinking it out process. I am scheduled for the class in September and hope to get some good answers then but for now I would like to know from any of you about your positive and negetive expereince from the time you started the process to the present. Since this is such a major decision for me because I have done everything in trying to lose weight and surgery is the one thing I said I would never do but the lapband sounds like it may be something I could do but until I get more information about the good, bad and ugly of it I still not sure yet, so anything that you are willing to share with me about your experience would be greatly appreciated. I am reaching out which is most difficult for me to do but I know that I need support, encouragement and honest feedback.
