Lynda0221 0 Posted July 6, 2008 Hello everyone- My name is Lynda and I am 32 years old. I have struggled with my weight for years now and have decided to have Lap Band surgery. I am scheduled for surgery on July 8th and I am getting really excited about it. I feel the same way. July 8th is my banding day also. Just know you are doing the right thing and your whole life is going to change - for the better. This website is great for getting all kinds of information. You are not alone. Just know there are others going through the same thing you will be on Tuesday. Good luck! bjs 0 Posted July 7, 2008 Hi Lynda.. Best of luck on your surgery, and the start of a whole new you. Its scarey at first, but remember you are doing this for yourself and a healthier life. You'll get plenty of great advise on this website, as practically everyone has been thru this. I was done May 13,2008 and have lost 34 pounds already.
