eisermanr7 0 Posted July 5, 2008 Hello, I just got my band on July 1st! I feel ok now, but it is very uncomfortable to bend over or pick anything up that's too heavy (which is a lot right now lol!). Other than that I feel like I am doing good... I am on the clear liquid diet, which is also ok--I don't feel starved or anything. I also have to say that I went to Juarez, MX for my band, and I think it was great! the hospital was really nice.. and the nurses and doctors where great! better than I've ever had here! The nurse even got my IV in with just one try! That never happens when I get my IV done here at home! I don't even have a bruise from the IV! .... sorry I just think it's awesome. Well, hopefully I'll find some of the people on here that had their surgery the same day as me in Mexico!

Mrs J.J 2 Posted July 5, 2008 Thanks for the tip dsmith. I am lucky that my DH has been home most of the time to pick things up for me. If he is not around I use my toes.

I just know that it felt that way! I've been avoiding bending as much as possible... I'll bend at my knees first! plus my hubby has been with me, so he's had some extra picking up to do lol!
