ruby2508 0 Posted July 1, 2008 Hello all. I am new to LapBandTalk.com and am to be banded on July 8th. I am kinda bummed because I was supposed to be banded today but have had a fever over the weekend so my surgery was postponed. My doctor is Michael Sofronski and I live in Maryland. I will interested in talking to all who are at the same stage I am as well as you oldies who are experts at what is going to happen to my emotions and my body. liquids are not so bad. angie61 6 Posted July 1, 2008 Hey Ruby!! I'm so excited!! My doctor is Dr. Daniel McCollough, Dr. sofronskis partner! Nice to meet you. My surgery is scheduled for July 30th. So I have a couple of weeks before I have to start my liquid diet. I was relieved when they said we could have cream Soups (strained) It sounds a little more doable that way. I live in Va.
