?'s about The Daily Plate?

Two things, one, it said that based on my height and weight and that I want to lose 1.5lbs a week, that I should consume 2700 calories a day??????????? WTF? Isn't that a lot? Or no?

Also it's a little confusing to use, you just search what you ate and add to list?

Anyone else use this? Any tips?

The Calorie account does seem to be a little high. I love My daily Plate...it shows just about every type of food.

What did you choose for your activity level? You can google BMR...I have heard some individuals on this sight refer others to that....

I just use it to track my intake. I don't pay attention to the number of calories it says I should have - the number seems way too high.
