missrach 0 Posted June 26, 2008 I know that you're supposed to lose the weight fairly slowly (2-3lbs per week), but has anyone just had the weight fall off faster than usual? Were you exercising?
libra 13 Posted June 27, 2008 At one point, I was losing around 5 pounds a week. It was about 2 months after surgery and I was going with about 900 calories a day, high Protein and working out 1 hour of cardio a day for 6 days a week. It lasted for about 2 months until I hit my first plateau. Then I went to about 1-2 pounds a week, (same workout and diet) Now however I'm at a self-imposed 2 month plateau. (I'm being lazy and I know it.)
FighterGirl 1 Posted June 27, 2008 It depends on how much weight one has to lose as well as your body. One of the things that can help you avoid major plateaus is changing up your diet and workout plan.

Boo Boo Kitty 3 Posted July 3, 2008 I did loose more than 2-3 a week some weeks and not at all on other weeks. I work out 1.5 hours a day. It made it easier to get over the platues.
auntlucy 22 Posted July 3, 2008 I've definitely had weeks where I've lost a little more and weeks when I've lost less or even gained. I try not to get frustrated with the gains b/c I know I'm doing everything right. I think it's just normal. Our bodies are very complex! I really need a fill right now...fortunately I'm scheduled for one Tuesday!
