LynnN 0 Posted June 26, 2008 I'm still in the process of pre-surgery qualifications: seeing the cardiologist today to set up a stress-test, and seeing the psychiatrist tomorrow. When all results are back to my surgeon, my case will be presented to my insurance company (Anthem Blue Cross) for approval. So I guess I'm looking at a couple of months. After being fat for most of my 65 years, I guess I can wait a couple more months! Not happily, tho! I am so anxious to get going. I'm sure every one of you has been in this position! I can't wait to start swapping "war stories" with you as we all fight this battle together. Nice to meet you all! Lynn
Brandy~ 2 Posted June 26, 2008 Hello and Welcome to LBT Lynn! You're right we have all been where you are... I think that the pre op is the biggest battle. Well, atleast for me it was. I look forward to seeing you around and good luck on your journey
LynnN 0 Posted June 26, 2008 Brandy, How do you attach the Weight Loss Ticker to your signature? I can't figure it out!!
heartfire 4 Posted June 26, 2008 (edited) Welcome! I'm in Oakhurst. I'm going through Kaiser so that is a whole 'nuther story! One thing nice about the process taking time is that it makes you THINK and you have time to research. Otherwise some people jump into it to fast and then regret it later. Are you having any issues with the fires? I'm out of any of them but there sure is a lot of smoke! DH is a fire captain with Cal Fire so he's on duty and not coming home anytime soon (was supposed to be home today)! Take care and best wishes on your journey. This is a great place to be and ask questions. As for the ticker, there's a tutorial on here somewhere, just do a search for it. Edited June 26, 2008 by heartfire Formatting issues, Again!! Still didn't work! UGH!!

No, I'm not awfully close to the fires, but the smoke is just horrible. At least there is some containment on the Oliver. I'll pray for the safety of your DH and the rest of the fire crews!
