Surgery Date!

Hi All-

I met with the surgeon last Friday--We've set my surgery date:

June 9, 2005.

When does the panic set in!?

You will go thought all kinds of emotions, but it is all normal. Start reading all the old posts as well as the new ones and you will gain lots of valuable information.

Good luck getting through the month. Waiting for the surgery date is one of the hardest parts of getting banded -- but not nearly as hard as making up your mind or waiting to GET a surgery date. Congratulations.

I am down to Thursday surgery date and cannot sleep! I am definately running the gammet of emotions.....I am trying to get everything ready...Dotor is calling in prescriptions so I can pick them up tommorow...hubby and I are going out tonight to get clear liquid diet goodies (short list) and I am going to pick up liquid tylenol and some form of gas b gone.....oh and a heating pad. Any suggestions or items I am leaving off to get me through the first few days?

By the way . .you all have been a wealth of info..I would have never been prepared without all you bandsters out there. THANKS!

I didnt personally have time to panic-contacted doc on thursday-had surgery on wednesday_I started to panic after I came out of anesthesia to be honest.Dont worry itll be fine.
