stl_lulu 0 Posted June 29, 2008 Ha Cindy, thats a good one!!! If you figure out that osmosis thing you could probably make some serious money...lol. Today was the first day I think my band worked. I have been sooo excited. My husband and I went to lunch and I had a small (appetizer) portion of eggplant parm w/o Pasta, I did not drink with it, and it was the FIRST time since surgery that I have felt full off of a really small amount of food. AND I stayed full for several hours... like almost 5. Anyway, Im pretty jazzed, I have to travel on June 30th and July 1st but Ill begin my portion of the challenge when I get to my destination. cindyg1212 0 Posted June 29, 2008 I finally have decent restriction too which is why I have been steadily losing one pound a week. So darn slow! I wish I could find the motivation to excercise but I had neck surgery a year ago and a recent x-ray showed that the discs are not completely fused. I often have neck and upper back pain and even walking a lot hurts. I think I should look into a Water aerobics class if it's not too straining. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Sades 4 Posted June 29, 2008 Aqua aerobics should work for you Cindy because there's not as much stress on the body but you definitely see the effects of it. Great for toning the stomach etc. I wish I could do it more often but as mentioned above not feasible. hollyberries 2 Posted July 1, 2008 Ok...everyone tomorrow is July 1st...we are going to do this. We will stay committed for the entire month and reach our goals. Trust me at the end of the month make sure you measure...I am sure you will be down inches. Foofy...the swimdress actually fits great now....I am going down sizes so quick that it won't for long. I just got back from my 2 week vacation. And I am glad to see this challenge here ready and waiting for me to join into. I did do 2 Water Aerobics claases in Cancun at the pool, it was alot of fun, I even got hubby to join in with me, he wouldn't admit it, but he had fun too. We did ALOT of walking and swimming. Usually when we go its only for a week and I always gain weight, about 5-8 pounds, This time I didn't gain an ounce!!!! Wohoooo I focused more on all the activities I could do and not on the all inclusive food and drinks there was to be had, sure I drank my margaritas a few days, But I made sure to exercise my butt off to make up for them. Have a great day evberyone, I am off to pull weeds in the back yard as they seemed to have grown at least 2 feet tall all over the yard while I was gone....
