As for my problem this week, went down on my man just 2 hours after eating dinner, and for the first time in a long time, I gagged and pb'd. I was so embarassed, but he was really cool about it.

That sucks, I'm glad he was okay with it though. Lesson learned: Always do it before dinner.:cool2:

Oh, and my pledge name in college, for my soriority, was BJQ. Infer what you must.:sneaky:

Lol hello Blow Job Queen.

Lol hello Blow Job Queen.

Gee, you got it right away....

How about I got the name because a guy I was dating broke up with me right before I pledged and it was because I wouldn't blow him. He went with the girl who did. How's that for irony?:sneaky:

My input on the "tools of the (whore) trade"...

I really prefer the realistic feeling ones. I find glass ones are too hard, as are most rubber ones. They get painful to me when I orgasm. Cyberskin is awesome, although it does require special care, it is well worth it to me.

Dh and I make a fun little habit of finding sex shops just about anytime we go out of town, be it on business or pleasure. There is nothing like shopping and getting to see the merchandise in person. Then we go back to our room and try out our new toys! It can be quite an adventure. There are sex shops in any major city, you just have to know where to look.

I wish my bf was here with me while I am in a city that actually has sex shops. I am afraid to go in there alone too. I am afraid of who will be in there to wait on me. I am just plain chicken!

Go into one in a well lit area, that doesn't look seedy, once you get in, if its set up nicely, you feel comfortable. Remember, the folks in there are not perverts, and are just doing their job. And if the place is nice, there won't be perverts hanging around. DON'T shop in the ones that advertise XXX movies, or peep shows, those are digusting.

There's 2 shops around my area that aren't the sleazy ones. The 2 I goto are clean clear like Dr. Office clean. :smile2:

Well geez, what a night. Started out non descript. Went shopping with my best guy friend discovered I am in size 18 now, down from 24/26 and then went home and cooked dinner. I couldn't eat all that much, so I went to take a shower. Imagine my surprise, when this man, who is my best friend, not the one that I have been fooling around with, wants to fool around with me. I haven't been in this situation since HS.:crying:

To make the long story short, I come out with a full length robe on, and he approaches me.

Wow, so now I am attractive to two guys who don't want a relationship with me, just wants to fool around. I can't do this. Now, to figure out do I be blunt and state that straight out or what? I am too old for this drama. I know that I can't fool around with both of them. That is just wrong. :wink2:

I like that!

That reminds me of the speech from the movie Say Anything...John Cusack's friend is telling him: "Don't be a guy."

Am I dating myself?

You know what, you are so right!!! One is 41 the other 39, both been through bad relationships with the wrong women, one married 3 times, the other 2 times, one with 2 kids from the first marriage, the other no kids. But the more I think about this, as much as sex and the other stuff is great, I do need a Man around here, not guys looking to fool around who have bad histories of relationships. At this stage of the game, they aren't going to change.

The thing is, my best guy friend from last night is strangely absent this morning, usually, get the call at 7:00am to make sure I am awake, and after I dropped him off last night, he was unusually cold when I called to let him know I got back to my house.

So now, did we ruin our friendship? We have been friends for 20 years. After this last 15 hours, I don't even want to think about sex with anyone.:crying:

Maybe he is just feeling awkward because he did take the chance and "crossed the line". You are both adults and since anything that happened was consensual, it really shouldn't be a big deal, but he may still be embarrassed. Give him a couple of days to work through his feelings about it then give him a call if you haven't heard from him. He may just need to know that YOU are still okay being friends. Good luck!

Yeah I have to agree. He may just be freaked out because he crossed a line with himself. I say chat him up like you normaly would have done and dont even mention the fooling arround. If he is weird about it then lay it on the line for him like friends do.

And just say our friendship is more important then anything else. so Lets not screw it up.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
