yettia1031 1 Posted June 23, 2008 Hi all, I am new to the site and just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. I am so exicited about the procedure. I will be having the surgery on next month, just waiting on the official date. I am paying out of pocket for the surgery. The insurance had me on this six month program, blah, blah, blah. The insurance co's make it so difficult for us. I am so excited I cannot contain myself. I am just waiting to see the new me. I can't wait to get rid of these love handles. yettia1031 1 Posted June 23, 2008 Hi, What should I expect following the surgery. Did you join a weight loss program (such as weight watcher) following the surgery. Did you exercise or join a gym? Brandy~ 2 Posted June 23, 2008 If you join a weightloss center to go along with your band be sure that you get plenty of Protein.. Thats the most important part. I joined the gym and just work out 3x per week and ride my bike to work 6.5 miles each way. I just had my first fill so I am not sure how well all my hard work is paying off yet.
