jntedwards 0 Posted June 22, 2008 Everytime I lie down, it burns. Almost every night I wake and throw up. I don't want to go to the doctor and him tell me that I have to have the band out or something. What could be causing this. I've never had reflux or even gas pains so I don't know how to describe this sensation. I'm worried that I'm eating up my insides but I cannot regain the weight I've lost and I know I will if I don't have the band.:confused2:
It's_Christine 0 Posted June 22, 2008 vomiting almost nightly is not normal. you need to be seen by your surgeon ASAP. do not assume what you have or what he/she may suggest.

coolcrystal 1 Posted June 22, 2008 I believe this is also caused from your band being too tight.. is it? it could probably easily be fixed by a slight unfill. You need to be a responsible band person and go to the doctor. It's probably going to be something easily fixed.
brown bear 0 Posted June 23, 2008 Go to the doctor. If you keep waiting, more damage could be done to your body and the risk of losing the band increases.
rcoleband 0 Posted June 23, 2008 Day two and three I did throw up. I called my dr and he was not too concerned. I began taking maalox total relief which helped with the nausea. I am not dr, so you should call and let them know what is going on. I am just 4 days out myself and have a bad feeling in my stomach, a lil queasy and nausious but the maalox helps with that.
