I was nervous and didn't know where to turn and I found lots of support and great answers here. If you want this surgery, you're going to do great. I've been feeling great and losing weight since my surgery on May 21st. I already feel like this was one of the best decisions I've made in years. I asked tons of questions and felt well armed for the surgery, there are lists on here for things to get in your house before the surgery (great help), look at the pre-op question section for ideas. lilnora2 0 Posted June 19, 2008 Welcome I was banded 6-11-08 and I felt the same way I did very will and I am home and recovering but starving the surgery went well and no problems so far just keep reading the blogs and people will help you thru this after surgery the pain I have is gas and neck pain a little form the cuts I also walked a lot before and after surgery this will help so make sure you are walking now keep me posted I wish all the luck with you new life . Kalipso2 25 Posted June 20, 2008 i was banded 04-21-08 and i have to admit... being banded is one of the most difficult things in my life bit i would NOT give it up for anything! these couple of months have been a struggle. what to eat.. what not to eat.. how much to eat.. not being able to eat after this last fill. i'm having to learn my body all over again and it's scary but also exciting because i'm loving the results. did i make any sense???
