I had my first fill today!!!

I dont know what I was worried about. I felt no pain whatsoever. It felt funny when he pulled the needle out but I never felt any pain. I already feel some restriction from it. Will this last or does it feel tighter and gradually loosen up over the next couple of days?

He put 1.5ml in, plus he put some in when I had the op so...I think it is up to 3.5ml in a 10 or 11ml Vanguard. He said I can come in each week till I find the restriction I need.

Hi Kel... Congrad's to you!

The restriction you are feeling right now *may be* your stomach a little swollen from the adjustment. This may go away and you will loosen up - OR - this may be your new restriction! Who knows?!?!? I felt a little restriction right after my fill, but 4-6 weeks later, I gained more.

Are you having liquids for a day or two?

I was wondering how you know when you need another fill. Do you start getting hungry more often? Had my first fill on 4/18/05. Up until today if I ate too fast or too much at a time it was very painful. Today, the pain isn't there. Either I've slowed down with my eating--which I work on at each meal or maybe I'm eating slower---working on that too. Thanks for the responses ahead of time. Karen
