When the pulled out the old fill I only had 2cc's. The Dr. told me that this is quite common in the first few fills, but couldn't/didn't explain to me why. Has anyone else had this experience or if anyone knows why this happens I would love to hear from you. I have called and left a message with the nurse, but never know for sure when you will hear back and I have been up all night wondering if my band is okay. Thanks again, Brandy
Brandy~ 2 Posted June 18, 2008 I have heard many different things about this and yes it is common and your band is probably just fine. Some say that there is a certain amount of evaporation of the Fluid. I wouldn't worry about it. If the doctor isn't concerned you should be just fine
