I work in a professianl setting and all my clothes are fitting tight right now. What did you were back to work a week after surgery? I am trying to avoid going out to buy more clothes after surgery.

Did tight fitting clothes irritate your incisions?

I am wearing my 'big' clothes now and honestly, I need to go shopping. Suggest you look into consignment shops or find out if there is a 'clothes swap group' in your area. Good luck.

My clothes didn't fit tight but my pants did hit right on my staples. I can telecommute so I worked from home 2 days, then wore track suits (didn't worry about dress code) for 2 additional days. By then my staples were out and I was good to go. Do you have skirts or dresses? They usually afford a little more room.

I use craigslist.org a lot to get rid of clothes. What size are you wearing, I might be able to send you something? I'm in MD and my sister works in DC. Take Care

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
