female only Port pain during TOM...

Hi there gals

I have so much pain around my port area during my TOM.

I actually don't know if its really related to my TOM or not. I was banded on April 8, so I am coming up on my third period since being banded.

The first one, was right after surgery so I had alot of pain anyway. The second month I attributed it to excercising too much, but here is the pain again. This time it is a sharp pain, but could be related to me lifting a heavy suitcase last night. So I really don't know?

Does anyone else experience port pain during their TOM? Or, is it totally unrelated? :frown:

I dunno what to say cause I am not banded yet but I am it is normal and nothing is wrong. I'd call your doc whenever monday comes around.

i was banded june 12 08, and i have a port pain as well!

they say its normal after surgery, but i dont know!

lol she said it was her TOM and she was having port pain...she wasn't just banded.
