I i'm currently going to my first doctors appointment and all the insurance steps i need .. My lapband will be done the first week of aug and i am so excited .. so i need allllll details .. :rolleyes2: please anything to help me i'm ready to listen ....

The best advice I can give you is not to get discouraged by whatever hoops your insurance or MD may make you jump through. That was the toughest part of the whole lapband experience for me. Just go with the flow and keep your mind on the big prize at the end of the journey!!!

The only things I can tell you is when you start your 2 weeks liquid diet, don't freak out cause you are hungery, which I know you will cause I think everyone does, It's for the best and for your surgery. Plus, when you are eatting again, eat lost of Protein first, take your Vitamins, and just listen to your Dr and nurses on what they tell you. It will be a slow process but it will get done. Good luck with your surgery and band.
