To be free 1 Posted June 13, 2008 I was just banded on June 10th and had mine, they said it happens all the time and are used to it...they just said no tampons during surgery, they gave me a pad to wear and a pad for the bed in case....once back up in my room I was allowed to wear tampons...... no problems at all.
