BoomerSoonerz 0 Posted June 12, 2008 Everynow and then, I will be woken at night (which is why I am awake at 4:23am) with horrible stomach pain, maybe once a week. I can't tell if it's gas or what it is. I can't throw up, and I can't release any gas or poo, has anyone had a similiar experiance, please help, I'm desperate and don't wanna go to the Dr. in fear of having my band removed... S@ssen@ch 745 Posted June 12, 2008 (edited) Do you still have your gall bladder? If so, it could be a gall bladder attack. When I was having my gall bladder attacks I mistook them for problems with the band because they were in the center of my abdomen and felt like pressure, pressure so bad I felt like I was going to blow up! But yet I couldn't do anything to relieve the pressure. Gall bladder issues are common for individuals undergoing weight loss. *Also, if the pain is that bad you should absolutely consult your doctor. Pain is an indicator that there is something wrong. Hastings 3 Posted June 12, 2008 It makes no sense not to see your doctor for fear of having your band removed. If something is wrong with your band this would not save it, only make the situation worse. See your doctor.
Froggi 4 Posted June 12, 2008 This sounds like gallbladder problems. I would wake up in the middle of the night with horrible pains like that. Found out I had 25ml of gallstones. Had my gallbladder removed. Felt soooooooooooo much better.
