fujika 0 Posted June 9, 2008 Any of you that have lost quite a bit of weight: Approximately how many pounds lost equals a size? I have about 100 lbs to lose, wondering how many sizes I'll go through in the next 2-3 months. I know there is no exact science to it, I'm just thinking generally.
Ollie123 0 Posted June 9, 2008 usualy say 10-20 lbs = 1 dress size. Anyway, that's what I've heard.
Stay_Tuned 0 Posted June 9, 2008 Last year I did Optifast and lost 100 pounds in 6 months... I went from a size loose 32 jean to an 18ish depending on the brand and fit...... Hope that helps some..... They say 10-15 pounds per size.....
westcoastmom 3 Posted June 9, 2008 I have lost about 35 pounds so far, I would say I am not quite 2 sizes down yet...
Meri 0 Posted June 9, 2008 I have lost almost 64 pounds this year. I went from an 18 womens to a petite 12-10 so far. I have become a frequent visitor to the local consignment shop! Good luck!
Froggi 4 Posted June 9, 2008 I've lost 12 lbs and I still don't think I can wear 1 size smaller not sure though.
Froggi 4 Posted June 9, 2008 okay I tried on something a size smaller, still too tight. Not as tight though.
Northwest_Nance 0 Posted June 9, 2008 It might depend on how tall you are. I am pretty short - 5'1" and I think I go down a size for every 20 pounds or so. Or at least, after 20 pounds I can start squeezing into the next size!
Froggi 4 Posted June 9, 2008 I'm 5'9 so I guess I need to lose more to go down a size. The shirt is loser in the tummy but the arms are still pretty tight. =/
Froggi 4 Posted June 9, 2008 but yeah some 30/32's are too small on me some are too big but i just tried on a 26/28 but yet i have some 26/28s that look wonderful on me, I think it all depends on how it's cut, made, where it came from too.
wildercrews 0 Posted June 9, 2008 It depends on the person. I lost 32 pounds and dropped 2 dress sizes, from a 24 to 20.
stacy73 2 Posted June 10, 2008 I am down 65 lbs and have lost 4 or 5 sizes-depends on the brand-from 24 to 14/16- so I guess that would equal about 15 lbs per size-I am 5'3.
JOYCE13 0 Posted June 10, 2008 hen I go down 10lbs pants are baggy. When I go down 20 I can go down a size.
MerryHearted 20 Posted June 10, 2008 For me, around 20-some lbs. It varies, since I don't seem to lose weight evenly.
Thin4Anisha 0 Posted June 10, 2008 I lost 60 pounds once on phentermine and went from a size 22 to a size 14/15 in 6 month period. I would kill to be in a 15 again... Soon hopefully, waiting to hear from surgeons office today on a yay or nay from insurance.
