txjanaa1 0 Posted June 9, 2008 Just wondering what type of Vitamins everyone is taking post-op? I know since we are all restricted on some of the good nutrition we get, I am curious as to what everyone is taking. Obviously I don’t want to take Vitamins the size of horse pills...ouch!! (they will get stuck VERY easily, as you all know)! I tried pre-natal pills, but......they seem to make me crave things? Could just be me??? Thanks for your reply... :tongue2:

Big Dan 2 Posted June 9, 2008 I take Centrum chewables. They don't taste bad and chew up really fine. I also take a Vitamin D suppliment. They are small pills (a little smaller than a pea) but I am too worried about them getting stuck so I cut them open and squeeze the Vitamin out into some food.< /p>
kdlee 0 Posted June 9, 2008 I have already started taking my post op Vitamins to get used to the chewables. I take 1 Centrum adult chewable and 2-3 Tums a day for the Calcium. After surgery I'll add in some type of Fiber supplement, like metamucil and pepcid for acid control.
