ok i thing i REALLY CANT STAND IS IRONING!!! IM SO bad i would rather no wear a shirt if i know it needs to be ironed! anything to avoid it i will, including buying those crinkle like tops, so so i dont have to Iron it!! lol lol

Hey girl! From the Anti-Laundry Queen, A damp washcloth and a clothes dryer go a LONG way to get wrinkles out of clothes. This is from someone who knows. I haven't plugged in an Iron since the last funeral I went to (2 years ago).

What I really hate is washing dishes. I don't mind anything else. I don't have a dishwasher, so it seems like it takes forever. I also hate ironing. Most of my things don't have to be ironed much, except sometimes my scrub clothes for work. But I always put it off until the last minute possible.

Diddo Carrie! DH washes the dishes at our house. I am no June Cleaver! I'd make a horrible housewife.

My mom has had a dishwasher in her house since 1974. It broke two weeks after they installed it. They never fixed it. WTH? They choose to wash by hand. When they come to visit me, my dad fills up my sink and asks where the dish drain is. I told him it is to your right and look down. I don't wash by hand, that's what they dishwasher is for!

We had a deal when we were married. I'd cook and he'd do the dishes. I end up doing them about half the time, but at least he tries.lol

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
