Nuali 1 Posted June 8, 2008 So, I was banded on the 3rd, and am feeling much better. Had a couple of rough days... exhaustion, soreness, etc...but am now on the road to being 100%. I am trying to find some liquids that will satisfy me. I tried Carnation Instant Breakfast (with Splenda) and I love it. Have one around each meal time, and drink sips of Water and fruit juice in between; as well as a sugar free popsicle once a day. I really don't feel any really bad hunger yet. Does anyone else out there have any other suggestions for good tasing liquid ideas? I have seen that some others here are already able to eat real food on their liquid diet phase...unfortunately, my doctor didn't say I could do that, so...liquids for 2 weeks for me. I think my doc was pretty easy going, not too strict, but during liquids I was allowed to have: Yogurt Yogurt smoothies Jello pudding Cream of ----- Soups ( i loved the cream of potato...i would puree it so that the little chunks of potato became liquid) Campbell's "Soup at hand" juice Popsicles Low carb slim fast That's all I can think of off the top of my head and I feel like I'm missing something.....but hope this helps.
