BubbaLove 0 Posted June 8, 2008 The day is here and I am getting really nervous. I hope I made the correct decision. Really worried about not eating all the foods that I enjoy. Was this hard to get use to?

auntlucy 22 Posted June 8, 2008 I have found that my tastes are changing! I was talking to a friend who was on his way to pick up pizza for his family a few weeks ago. In the past I would have thought, "ooohhh pizza! maybe I'll have that for dinner." But now I thought, "oooohhh! I think my body would reject that. It doesn't even sound good. I think I have some great salmon in the refrigerator that I can cook!" Just go into this with the right frame of mind (doing it for your health)! I do still crave ice cream, but I haven't had any since my surgery. It's my trigger food, and I'm nervous about trying it again!

Was this hard to get use to? I'm on with you for tomorrow! I'm not worried about the food, i'm actually getting used to this pre-op diet. I'm nervous about the surgery. I hope they give me some happy juice quick, its a long ride to the hospital and i'm going to be a mess by time I get there. I have to be there at 5am so I have to leave at 3:30am. ughhh!
