I haven't had a problem at all with those Soups they seem to go down really well.I haven't been a guts and have only had about 4 table spoons at any one time. They are tasty and any little bits that are a little thick I have just really quash in my mouth.Ski yogurts are good too.low fat .I tried Asain Soup sweet corn and chicken but that I thought isn't quiet right as the corn is still whole and a little tough. So give it a wide birth in your first week.Campbells is the brand I think fro the Asain soups very tasty most likely good for a couple of weeks time.

you know in the next few weeks have what you like as by the time I was banded I had had just about every takeaway and was so over food it has done me some good.My girlfriend cried straight after having her band as you will find every 2nd advert is for take away and every3rd for some sort of diet.By the time you have have this done you will be so over all that crap and onto a new style of life. One which you know one day you will be

slimmer and more confident of yourself.

Hi - good luck with your band. I had mine put in on Tuesday morning and have the most dreadful wind. I'm sure I drank my Soup too quick. Otherwise, the stay in hospital was great and got to compare war wounds with the lady in the next bed, who had her's in just before me.

I'm getting sick of jelly, but at least I can get my teeth into it!!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
