Stay_Tuned 0 Posted June 6, 2008 Hi everyone!!! I went to my 2 week post op appt yesterday..... I am down a total of 27 since I started this journey.... about 14 of those are since surgery. :thumbup: I also got the go ahead to exercise again.. I got up at 530am this morning and did that for an hour... Felt most excellent to be back at Curves! The girls were all impressed to see me back so soon.....They missed me LOL! I am able to have apple sauce and blended banana cottage cheese yogurt ricotta cheese refried Beans things like that over the next 2 weeks. I had a Protein shake with half a banana in it and now I am having some no fat refried Beans with no fat sour cream and some smooth salsa on top! Tastes really good....Not as much Protein as I usually get in at "lunch"... only about 10 grams so I will need to have a shake for an afternoon snack. Things are progressing very well for me... I am still thrilled with my decision. After two weeks with these foods I can move onto pureed meats like chicken salads and tuna salad... soft fish... and soft cooked veggies...and then onto regular foods.... I may not be getting a fill until August because I have summer travel plans and they dont match up well with the fill schedule.. she did however say that I can make an arrangement if I feel like I need one and it is outside of the two times a month they do fills. The 3rd Friday in July just may work out though. So it is going to either be July or August for a fill... OR she said if I dont feel I need one then whenever I want one to give a call.... Bizzy Bee 1 Posted June 6, 2008 Hey there! I am doing great. I will be so much better on Monday when I can eat food that you actually get to chew! I am teaching summer school (kindergarten) and it is wearing me out. I don't think I am getting near enough calories to handle the energy level present in even one of those munchkins! I set up a fill a long time ago for June 30th. I don't know if I will need one or not, I have yet to feel hungry, but I wanted to make sure I could get in. I am down 13 pounds since surgery and I lost 10 preop. I am back where I started last summer when I got fed up withdieting and went back to eating everything in sight. How is everyone else doing??????? That is wonderful, congrats on the 27 pound weight loss. I was also banded on the 21st of May and I lost 20 pounds. My nutritionist said I can eat pureed foods like chicken, egg salad, tuna, and so on. Well anyway good luck and way to go. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I am going to boil some chicken and then make my own up.... I am not a big fan of the canned chicken... it taste too much like tuna to me... I like tuna... but when I get chicken I want it to taste like chicken LOL! Thanks for the replies girls!! I was beginning to think I was talking to myself around here.....
