banded today!

Everything went well. I did have 1 problem, I wasn't able to pee. I had to get a cathedar to empty my bladder and they let me go home. I haven't peed at home either. Did anyone else have this happen and how do you remedy it??

I've heard of that be.fore After any kind of surgery. But make sure your drinking and if you don't pee soon call Dr.

I was banded on 5/29 and the same thing happened to me.I am back to normal now

Congratulations!! You will be so happy with your decision. Now drink, drink, drink and rest, rest, rest!! You will be back to normal before you know it!

I peed on my own at 3 am!! I think I willed myself to do it. I didn't want to go to the ER & get cath'd and have to pay all of that money. I'm still very sore, which is to be expected but I'm hanging in there. I'm drinking and resting and taking my pain meds. Hope all of the rest of the newly banded people are doing well.
