SkinnieMinnie 0 Posted June 4, 2008 Hi Everyone, I've been lurking for months now, but now that I actually have insurance approval, I thought I'd say hello. I've done all the hooping jumping necessary, and now all I have left is my upper GI/gallbladder ultrasound on Friday before they schedule me for my band. I must admit that I'm getting very nervous as it gets closer to the date. I really hope I'm making the right decision. Dr. Steinberg in Atlanta will be performing my surgery, and I really have the utmost confidence in him and his staff. It's still a HUGE step though. I really look forward to getting to know you all, and I am sure I'll be coming here for lots of support. I'm one of those folks who hasn't told many people about the surgery.
