Breast lift w/ Implants

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have a question for you LARGE BREASTED ones out there... I mean LARGE that have had or considered PS for your breast.

Currently I am a 34J(US)/34GG(UK) - I used to be a 48I

I have never minded my breast being large, and never desired a reduction, only lift and firmenss, so I would like to hear about any one in my size range who had a breast lift w/ implants to keep your size around DD/DDD or larger.

How do you feel about your size - do you wish you would have kept them larger but lifted or are you pleased w/the size?

Is there anyone who had a reduction and now you have regreats that they appear too small to you?

I know when I get to goal I want to have a lift w/ some implants, unless the surgeon can lift them and make them look full again w/ out loosing too much size. I am thinking I might get down to a 30-32 and I would still like to be large - more than a DD, just because I am so used to being large on top, plus I think it will look good w/ my hip/waist ratio. (I have small shoulders, so the large breast help to give me more of an hour glass, and helps hides my pear shape).

Does anyone know if insurance would pay for a reduction if I only reduced to a DDD/F - I know sometimes they want to reduce the size so drastically, and that is what I am concerned of.

If you also know of any photos of befores & afters will you please link them?

Thanks.

I think it would be hard to get a really good long lasting lift result without decreasing size.

I know what you mean with shoulder ratio though, I'm the same, narrow shouldered and wide hipped and I am really thinking a little more breast when I have a lift will balance me out nicely.

But really large breasts make you look fatter than you are. Unless you dress to reveal them, then everything hangs from them and makes you look big all through the middle too. I've two girlfriends that had reductions and both looked amazingly (and flatteringly) slimmer as a result.

Thanks - you know I was not consider the future sag factor... LOL I know they will be reduced in size, but I guess I am just "afraid" of going to small - I love the before and after pics, but I wish they would give the measurements of rib cage & breast. Not just what size bra (many wear the wrong size) or how many CC's were put in.

I am sure a DD would probably look great on me when I loose more weight.

I did take a picture of me and photoshopped my stomach as if I had a TT and left my breast the same size, and by seeing that, it did help to see there was room for reduction.

I wouldn't suggest getting a lift and implants at the same time. I would get the lift, then the implants later. My doc won't do them at the same time.

Why wouldn't you?

Well, my doc explained it like this. How does it make sense to try to tighten up something that has become all saggy, and then add more weight to it on top of that? He said it's best to get the lift, heal, and then get the implants, and he showed me some pics of people who got implants and a lift at the same time and the implants moved out of place.

Go to www.makemeheal.com and select before and after pictures. Then choose "breat reduction" from the pulldown menu.

They have hundreds of pictures of before and after for breast reduction. You are bound to find at least one that fits your situation.

thanks - someone else just pointed me there too - having a look around. I love that it has the measurements so that is very helpful.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Am feeling this right now. My surgery date is 4/1. Sign the consent tomorrow. I feel like I overloaded myself with too much info, too many opinions. Got to the point where I was wondering if I should do this. Then I thought of my reasons for taking this step and that settled my nerves. Still get moments of doubt but am striving forward. Am just going to follow my book from the surgeon. Joined this because I was told by my dietician that I should do this for support
