pattic 1 Posted December 31, 2008 I am totally off all three of my diabetes medication. That is 6 pills less I have to take. I am also off my high blood pressure medication. I have a bad liver so it really helps to be off as many medications as I can. :wink2: Besides losing weight, my biggest goal as been to get off the medications. I also was able to go out and buy some new clothes. Everything was so baggy.

gone 4 ever 6 Posted January 3, 2009 (edited) Patti...What a wonderful NSV. Off some of your meds. I have had another NSV.. I cried and still am tearing up some...some of you will understand this one others who haven't been as big might not.....but I was trying on old clothes this morning and a lot of the older ones fits me again...great, but a little while ago I decided to use the tape messure on my hips...It actually touched! No more guessing how many inches in between the ends. Is it 5" or 6". I didn't do my messurements when I had the surgery because of how much I had to guess. This is very emotional for me. Even though I see the scale moving and clothes fitting it just wasn't regeristering 100%. Now it is. I can look at pics and actually notice a difference! This is so awesome to me.. Sorry so long and rambling! Edited January 3, 2009 by gone 4 ever

Miss Michelle 1 Posted January 11, 2009 K, I am gonna turn up the heat for a sec.... My newest NSV: Last night during the middle of sex w/ DH, he picked me up to switch positions. Just in case you missed that-HE PICKED ME UP! Of couse it freaked me out and I screamed put me down because I still suffer from fat girl syndrom. I am trying to let go of my issues but I still see myself as that chick who still carries the 102 lbs I have lost so far. I am working to get over it and, *ahem*, maybe a few more lbs and I will request to be picked up
It's_Christine 0 Posted January 11, 2009 Love it Miss Michelle! For me I have reached a BMI where I am no longer characterized as morbidly obese. YAY for me I am now clinically obese!
bandfan1 0 Posted January 12, 2009 I have the same trouble...my stomach is the LAST to lose!! I have started doing targeted stomach exercises like crunches, reverse curls, etc... You can do them right in your home!! I haven't seen any drastic results yet, but I know that it can't hurt!!! Good luck!!
