eenerms 0 Posted May 31, 2008 Two weeks in Sweden and Denmark...fell off the cheese wagon, but I was careful and didn't over indulge. It was difficult eating when I am used to, small meals over the day. Got my Protein with fish, and occassional egg and...cheese:drool: Go for another weigh in and hopefully a fill next week. I don't think I did too much damage..probably didn't lose but didn't gain either!!
DebNH 1 Posted May 31, 2008 So... How was the trip??? I am an avid traveler and am always considering Sweden. I hear it's beautiful, lots of nice locals and a totally different way of life compared to the US. Deb

Mom2_4 0 Posted June 3, 2008 Glad you had a great vacation. I wouldn't worry about indulging a bit here and there. We just got back last week from vacation and I tried for the first few days to eat like I should, but it was just too hard and I indulged myself quite a bit. I expected to come home to a disaster on the scale and I ended up actually losing 2 pounds. I know that is a bad message to send but my thinking is that I don't eat like that at home and we only do vacation like that once or twice a year and even if I had gained 5 pounds, I would still not beat myself up for it. aubrie 6 Posted June 3, 2008 I have a desk job. While I do exercise regularly after work, when I'm on vacation I'm typically WAY more active than usual. Swimming, walking, snorkeling, hiking, dancing, etc. So I almost ALWAYS lose weight on vacation. Even pre-band. Just HAVE FUN, and you shouldn't have to worry about the "indulgences". that's part of a vacation. Part of my weight loss journey was to ENJOY life again, and be normal. That's part of it, and why I love my band. Quality of life is at the top of the list for me.
