piercedqt78 658 Posted April 25, 2005 Not sure about lapband, but after GBP they say every 6 months for the first 2 years and then yearly thereafter. Hope this helps~Mandy
La_madam 20 Posted April 25, 2005 Paula, My PCP has me do it every 4 months, as a matter of fact I'm going in this morning for some blood work. It was back in December I had my last one. I like to have it done for my own peace of mind
dylansmom 27 Posted April 25, 2005 I've never heard of getting this done up until now. What is the name of the test, and what does it exactly check for? I'm probably going to need to get it done at least before trying for a baby. Thanks for the info! I'm always up for staying on top of my health!
HarleyNana 10 Posted April 25, 2005 I get mine done every 6 months just because of an enlarged liver. My pcp likes to keep check on it. Had blood work done a couple of weeks ago and all my bad numbers went down and my good cholesterol went up.
Alexandra 55 Posted April 25, 2005 I've so far had it done at one year out and will again at two years. My annual physical involves blood work, so I'm going to get a printout from my surgeon to give to my PCP for future reference. That way I know all the various things that need checking will be checked every year.
kellymoos 4 Posted April 25, 2005 My doctor, I am sure as you know, does not do any screening or any blood work...Go figure!
