vkcse03 0 Posted May 29, 2008 Hello all! I have a question. I was told that having a lower BMI=34 you will lose weight slower than someone with a BMI of 45? Is true and what has been your experience?:scared2:
Shinyhappymommy 2 Posted May 29, 2008 Starting at a BMI of 46 I lost weight faster than my lower BMI counterparts. Same surgeon, one same surgery date, one a month later. I keep reminding them that I had much more to lose than they did. Percentage wise it's not that drastic of a difference, but to just say the pounds lost it seems like it. SHARONCRIST1955 0 Posted May 29, 2008 I have had a low BMI I have been losing slow. But I am 53 and what I gather is that if you are older you lose slower.
