1000words 0 Posted May 28, 2008 I am not being done by Bagnato... but am getting my surgery in Valdosta by McCowan, who works with Burnette, who does the port placement like Bagnato. I was hoping to get information from you about port placement on the chest area. I do not wear low cut blouses, but I tend to scar badly, so I hate the idea of the port scar showing. How was it decided for the exact location of the port? Does your port scar show when you are wearing you bathing suit or bra? I know that I am just sweating the small stuff, but I just do not want a odd scar that I have to explain to people that do not know about the surgery. Thanks for you info
Guest Leslie2Lose Posted May 28, 2008 Hey girl - did you get my email earlier? My scar doesn't show in a bra or bathingsuit. The only person that can see it is DH and he doesn't seem to mind a bit. It is a very minimal scar - Mine is still red since my surgery has been recently, but should fade with time. I hope this helps some. Although you are technically not a Bagnato Bandit, you're more than welcome here. The support group here has been a lifesaver for me. I don't know what I'd do without them! georgia girl 35 Posted May 28, 2008 Mine doesn't show either. My bra completely covers it. Like Leslie said, you are more than welcome here. Good luck to you!
oneder_woman 0 Posted May 28, 2008 My scar from my port has retreated under my arm. Weird, b/c my actual port is well onto my upper chest.
