Okay ya'll - if it is okay, I thought I'd start a new thread just for the Darton Walking Group.

Are we still on for today? Jeannie? Bagweaver? ParaGirl? Hollybelles? Anyone else? Everyone is welcome to come...

The walk was great today. Come on out everyone. I don't think that anyone could be more out of shape than me. If I can do it, anyone can. The walk is just long enough to be beneficial and not too long to be too taxing.

Hey Jeannie - we are definately on for tomorrow at 5:15. We had a good time - We actually stayed in the forrest part rather than go around the tennis and baseball fields. We just back tracked - it was a lot cooler. We managed 45 minutes - It is getting a little easier. It was hot today, but the shade helps.

It looks like it may rain tomorrow 50% chance around 5:00. I'm going to go tomorrow at 5:15 and pray it doesn't at that time. Anyone else game? I can handle rain, it's the lightning that I can't.

Oops. I originally posted in the other forum. I won't be walking this afternoon. I'm running behind on packaging my merchandise for the Cherokee gourd show.

Hopefully, I'll see y'all on Tuesday of next week.

Is anyone walking today? I have HUGE headache and my shoulders/neck area are killing me today...all I want to do is go home and lay down. I don't think the heat will help me today.

I haven't felt like this since two weeks post op. I think the stress of this port revision or non-existant surgery is getting to me. BCBS won't give me an answer and bless her heart, Terri, can't seem to help me. Dr. B. won't to the surgery until he hears from them. I think I am mentally starting to deteriorate! I've been down all day today. I don't know how much more I can take of this waiting.

Leslie, sorry you are feeling bad and stressed. I wonder what's taking BCBS so long to approve it. Do you have BCBS FEP? That's what I have. It took them less than 2 weeks to approve my surgery. Anyway, hope you feel better soon. Get some rest today and relax (as much as you can).
