Hi, I am Linda from Severna Park, MD. I was banded on 5/16/08 by Dr. Averbach at St. Agnes Hospital. I am one week post op and have lost 10 pounds. :blushing:

Glad to meet you all. This has been rougher thus far than I had anticipated. During surgery my spleen was scraped by an instrument but the doctor was able to get the bleeding under control. I am feeling much better today though. Today is my 50th birthday and I am going to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine and nature. My appetite is very much under control.:cool2:

congratulations on your surgery! i too was banded on may 16th, in westchester, NY. glad to hear you're doing well. i'm about to go outside and enjoy the beautiful weather myself!
