DAYS A WK? WILL WELCOME ANY AND ALL SUGGESTION FOR AND ABOUT PRE AND POST SURGERY?

hi judie, i to am new to all this, and am looking to have lapband surgery, i am looking outside of alaska to do this, my daughter lives in birmingham and she is looking at doc's for me, she also works at uab hospital, i will look into your dr. i fly down to birmingham every three months to see my daughter and son-in-law and grand-daughter so thought i could even get my fill's while i am down there, so something to think about for me, good luck with everything, lisa:biggrin:

Hey Judie, my surgery was with Dr Schmitt also! (4/11/08) I'm feeling great..down about 26lbs and going in for my first fill on the 4th. Its great that you're already exercising. I think that is the key...I am working out at least 3 days a wk, sometimes 4 and i feel so much better!

Hi Judie,

I'm new to all of this too. I'm on my 2 week pre-op diet (no sugar, all clear liquids) and have lost 15.8 lbs. My band date will either be 05/29/08 or 06/02/08. My consult is tomorrow (05/23/08). Wish me luck!

Congrats on you wonderful start. I go for my consult with my physician in Oxford, MS tomorrow (05/23/08). I have been on the pre-op diet plan x 5 days and have lost 15.8 lbs already. I have researched this all over the internet. I'm glad I finally ran up on this forum. Any hints after my surgery?
