Daisalana 33 Posted May 21, 2008 The see-food diet. I see food, I eat. No really.. I don't have a specific diet. Once you have good restriction, you can't eat a whole lot of any one thing, so as long as you're get your Protein in (which will fill you up), you shouldn't have to worry about the rest. I can't tolerate any bread, rice or white carbs. I bought a great book called the World's Healthiest Foods. I went to a seminar for Library Science and one of the speakers was talking about whole foods. There is a great web site that talks about eating whole healthy foods it is at www.whfoods.org. You might want to check it out. The book is great and has some great recipes and general nutritional information. Since we can't eat a lot it is important to eat as nutrionally as possible. Good luck on your new life, it is great.
VegasGrace 1 Posted May 24, 2008 Plan? None. I use the lapband system, eat tiny and frequent meals and make good choices. Wow, look at you! You are going to really lose weight if you can diet, too.
princesstracey 1 Posted May 25, 2008 Im not really following a plan either. My problem (pre-band) was my carbs. I eat almost no carbs, and it has proven very successful. Now, im trying to go off sugar completely, which is challenging. I keep it between 800-1000 calories a day. I always drink Water, trying to stay away from the 'empty calories' in beverages. The no carbs has helped me so much.
