Thanks!! This last month has really been up and down. I have not been eating all that great either. I go from 189 to 196 depending on the day. It is frustrating!! My last fill was almost a month ago and I could really tell a difference right away. About two weeks later I was not quite as tight but now that it is almost my TOM I am really tight. I am due to get my next fill on Thursday but I don't think I should. I think I will wait until after my TOM. What do you think? I know this is off topic but I thought maybe I should talk to someone about it. Thanks!!

Nothing is off topic on the shrinking violets thread! LOL

But my restriction pattern was something like this.........

Fill, tight for 3 weeks, then LOOSE.........

I always get a bit tighter around my period... also when I'm stressed.

My last "unfill" was in January I went from 4.3cc down to 4.0cc and I've been maintaining my sweet spot since then.... (I have the "small" band)

LOL------no! This was acheived from another email, using the 3rd letter of your first name---which meant something, then the 2nd letter of your last name or some such thing.

Mine was one of those that would not work with dog name and street.

My first pet was a dog named Sleepy......

and remember we are rural.....my address was #23 Rd. 3640!!

Try to make a stripper out of that!!!

After that we had a stray cat, pregnant of course, wander up and adopt us, so we named her....Mama!! So add that with my new addy and we have Mama Church!! LOL

Thus I resorted to the old email that dubbed me Raquel Glitterkiss!!!

Well maybe I should be the token Farmer Denny's waitress. I could wear a hat and boots with my uniform, and could even fake a mouthful of chew!!!!

Although really us farm girls aren't like that!!

I am still walking around here saying ya'll!

Careful! It's habit-forming!! You'll know when it's stuck for good when you hear yourself say "Ya'll's"....as in, "Did ya'll get ya'll's batteries yet?"

Actually, "Did ya'll" is pronounced more like "dijall"....just for the record.

Okay, I think I was napping or something when this whole thing occured, so are we seriously making a calendar? If so what are the months available?

I think I remember September, but I wanted May since that is my birthday month and somebody had it. So if we are really serious about this let me know and I will do it. Are we doing it month appropriate? Like if I am September do I need an apple, ruler, etc...? What is everyone wearing?

Jane

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
